Come join us on Saturday January 25^th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Shenanigans for our Second Annual Chinese New Year SUPER Happy2Hours. Both the Main Bar and the Signature Bar will feature two special themed cocktails once more. The Dragon’s Bite Cocktail and the Cherry Moon Cocktail,

respec tively. Both are very tasty.

This year our Kitchen Mgicians will feature the Asian culinary expertise of Cathy Jones. I hate to spoil the surprise of their appetizers, but I will anyway and say that I do know that Cathy’s famous fried rice will return and something super-special as well, homemade potstickers. I’ll leave the rest as a surprise. Oh yeah, something else very special, you’ll get to meet the Kitchen Magicians on Saturday since they will be serving the appetizers to you. I hope you take a moment to thank them for all the work it takes to provide the treats for you.

I asked Sam and Brian to provide the music for the event and they agreed; I cannot wait to hear what Brian’s picked for the playlist. How much do you want to bet that I ask them to do it again next year for the Third Annual Event.

If you are new to the village, we invite you to come join us at Shenanigans on Saturday, there is no charge for the event. We offer non-alcoholic beverages and virgin cocktails if that’s what you’d like to drink. The appetizers are free of course, just our way of giving back to you for joining us for a Happy2Hours.

Finally, just a quick note of thanks for all that attended our Second Annual Chili Cook Off and to those who entered the contest. You all made it even more popular than the First Annual and made sure that there will be a Third Annual Chili Cook Off next year. And I’m thinking about what would make it even bigger and better, so, that’ll be on my mind for a year.
