Elvis Dinner Show Ticket Holders!

Jan 20, 2022

Hi all of you lucky Elvis Dinner Show Ticket Holders!

Hey, if you didn’t hear from me and Shenanigans you’d have to wonder if the event was real or imaginary, right? Oh it’s real and the show is SOLD OUT! So, here I am and I’m gonna try and tempt you to try our Special Elvis Cocktail on Saturday Night, it’s the least I could do for you.

You know it takes a lot of effort coming up with these special drinks, the effort mostly elbow bending and taste testing, I mean somebody has to do it! Lately, Norm Schoch and little old me subject ourselves to the trying task of tasting my creations and hope we survive to tell you about it. Today was no exception, and this one is awesome! Ask Norm, this one is a winner and we’re keeping the recipe. So, do I have your unbridled attention bridled yet and curiosity about to burst? Good, because I’m gonna tell you what we chose to make for you.

Now, if we asked Elvis himself what the special drink would be, I bet he’d want a peanut butter and banana Smoothie. I’d probably sneak a little Myers Rum in before he looked too. Yeah, but that’s not what I picked for you. Mine’s way better! We are calling it a “Blue Hawaiian” actually it’s a real drink anyway, but I’m claiming it for Shenanigans, who’s gonna know, huh! You probably would like to know what we put in it as well. I would, so I created a poster for you detailing what’s in it and you can find it attached to the letter. I’ll be helping Norm with the Blue Hawaiian cocktails on Saturday night since his better half, Renee, will be serving you dinner.

One bit of husekeeping though, ya, that’s what my old boss used to call the stuff no one wants to read or follow. Well, this is important. Once the Elvis Show starts all bar areas will be closed out of respect for the performer and you my dear friends, who wants to hear a noisy bar in the background, right. The only problem I visualize is getting a cocktail, perhaps our special one, in your hands before the Elvis Show starts. It was suggested that the bar close at 6:45 pm. Do the head math, that gives everyone a chance to have a cocktail during the show in the 15 minutes from dessert at 6:30 pm and 6:45 pm, that is if you down the dessert before they take it away from you! Good luck on that! So I have asked our bartenders to work a few more minutes but absolutely shut down by 7:00 pm. I’ll apologize right here if we close while you might be inline for your beverage. We can clean up the bar after the show. However, Shenanigans will be open during your dinnerand that should be helpful for your needs.

Enjoy the Dinner and Show and maybe you’ll try our “Blue Hawaiian” Cocktail. It’s special for Elvis!

Thanks, see you Saturday. (Note: The fancy drink topper in the poster, don’t hold your breath, okay?
