Hi everyone, it’s Al the bar guy again. Did you miss me, I kinda did.
Well, it’s not Happy2Hours promotion time yet, however, coming up on Saturday will be the Spring Dinner Dance and Shenanigans will be open for you a lot longer than what’s normal for a H2H or Potluck.
Our Mixologist Mark Fagley suggested a special punch idea for us and I’m happy to say we will be featuring that at our Beer and Wine Bar. It really is quite tasty and a surprise considering the ingredients. Mark and I taste-tested the punch and found it a delightful distant cousin of Sangria. And we do all love a good Sangria Punch. It’s called “Call me a Cab!” Don’t worry, you can still drive yourself home after a few rounds of this punch, although if you want us to call a cab for you, we can make it stronger. Haha!
We will be open at 5:00 pm on Saturday; please don’t be confused when you see the Shenanigans Squad busy setting up the bar locations much earlier. We usually need a full hour to set up and of course we need our Ticket Sales table opened before we can serve anyone. However, Shenanigans will be open for the duration of the Dinner Dance so you can wet your whistle after an exhausting dance or two.
Here’s an advance peak into June for you. One of our favorite and very successful events will arrive on the Happy2Hours of June 18 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, our new later hours. It’s our LUAU once again! Time to go pull out your best Hawaiian Shirts and outfits to wear. See, at least I’m giving you almost a month to do this, so no excuses. Okay, if you can’t find those favorite Hawaiian threads in the closet or perhaps the moths found them first, don’t worry, we’ll just feel a little sad. It’s okay though, we’ve got sad under control now.
You’ll be hearing more about the Luau as time goes by, this was just a little teaser for ya.
See you Saturday,
Al Fichera,
Bar Manager
