Hi everyone, it’s your resident ‘party-guy’ and ‘booze-pusher’ again,
Just to remind you that Shenanigans will be open again on Saturday, September 10th from 4:00pm to 6:00 p.m. for your Happy 2 Hours pleasure. And wait until you find out what we have planned for you this time. Oh, why wait, I’m gonna tell you right now.
Diane Perry and her kitchen crew will be doing something we’ve never done before, at least not in my tenure here. They are making “Street Tacos!” Imagine having FREE Street Tacos and all the fix’ns plus you don’t even need to go out into the street to eat them, too! I learned recently what the fillings will be and, frankly, I can’t wait for Saturday to come! I know ‘party-guy’ Al, just what are those fillings? Oh, I so want to tell you because my mouth is watering just writing this! However, I’ve been told that I spoil the surprise when I blab everything first. So, maybe you should come and find out for yourself. I could add, when have we ever disappointed your tastebuds for FREE? Don’t answer that on GP’s.
Anyway, my weather app says it will only be 95° on Saturday, the start of lower temperatures for the coming week! So, there’s no excuse not to come! Nope, I can’t think of any good excuses other than we’ll miss you so bad, if you don’t come!
Oh ya, we are offering another H2H beverage we haven’t offered before. White Wine Sangria Punch with fresh summer fruit and berries, plus ‘other tasty good stuff’, too. For you purists, I’ll see that the traditional Red Wine Sangria with citrus fruits will also be available. I’m thinking, I know that’s dangerous; our two-for-five dollar tickets are in play that day; why not purchase both Sangrias and then let us know which one you like best. Hopefully both! However, if you’d like to have white wine sangria available more often, tell us; I’ll try hard to listen or pay attention.
Your favorite Signature Bar hosts, Norm and Renee, will be at the Sangria Bar serving both sangrias. Of course, our main bar will have just about anything you’d like upon asking. Gus is on vacation, so Scott Hillis will join Lori Green at the main bar for you. (Please be kind to Scott, we’d like to see him here more often!) Our beer and wine bar will have a surprise host this week, please do come by and say hello, okay?
