Teddy Bear Luncheon

Dec 2, 2022

It is that time again to support the fire and police departments of Citrus Heights, as well as the young and affected children in our community. Each year we have a drive to collect stuffed animals for kids who are in stressful situations. We collect stuffed animals for the police and fire to carry in cars for these situations. We have been successful in the past to collect these stuffed animals and the police and fire department send representatives to our luncheon. We also invite the city leaders to our lunch to give them the stuffed animals. We call this the Teddy Bear Luncheon. It is a pot luck for us but not for firemen policemen or politicians who attend.

We ask you to buy a stuffed animal and drop it off at the Lakeview Office. Kristi and Joy  store them until the event when we put them on tables for all to see and then give them to the police and firemen who come.

Every year they go with red lights flashing into areas that are somewhat depressed and distribute things that the families might need along with a teddy bear or stuffed animal for the children.  Please take your stuffed animal to the office by the 7th of December. Thank you.
