Hi everyone, it’s old Shenanigans’ Al again,
I know you’ve been told that the bar will be opened for the potluck on Friday, but not what we have planned for you. We are taking our popular Frozen Margaritaville machine out of mothballs and powering it up once again. But it’s not for frozen Margaritas, that’s coming up soon enough for the Seis (six) de Mayo Happy2Hour. No, this time we are gonna make frozen Mango Peach Daiquiris for you; well, that’s our plan ‘A’ at the moment. Who doesn’t love a tasty daiquiri, huh? Please don’t answer that, I don’t want to be disappointed knowing the unwanted answer. (If you ask nicely, we might even make you a virgin rum-free version, it will still be frozen and all kinds of fruity-like; just saying.)
Not sure how many people are in the “I’ve never tasted a mango, and I’m not gonna start now!” category, all I can say is if you like a ripe peach, it’s a good bet you’ll like a ripe mango. (Stay away from the unripe ones though.) So, I figured why not put them together. We did last year, and you loved them, so here we go again. Friday’s potluck is our only event this month, the Art and Wine Faire will take place on Saturday, the 29th for you to enjoy.
In May the Seis de Mayo and the Elvis show on the 21st are the only bar events for that month. I’ll let you know more about those events in another blast from Linda Evans. See you Friday!
