Dear Residents,
Neighborhood Awareness will NOT meet in July. It was not on the calendar this month. Many are on vacations and such. We will resume on August 17th (the 3rd Wednesday). I am considering having our meetings every other month. Your comments are always welcomed. Since we are all volunteers, and not always around each and every day at all hours, we could use a couple more individuals who would be part of our On-Call receivers for fellow residents to call if they see anything unusual.
Please plan on joining us on August 1st (Tuesday evening 6-8 pm) for National Night Out. You will be seeing more about this in the next couple of weeks. We hope to have some guest speakers, ice cream and lots of socializing with your neighbors on this National event. Anyone that would like the microphone to voice a message that would be beneficial to the community, please let me know. If we have any First Responders in the Park or Instructors on self Defense or home security, I would love to hear from you. Booths are available for any non-profits that want to reach out to our community. There will be no sales or soliciting, only worthwhile information for our residents. So if you know of any, have them call me.
