This Saturday May 31, from 5:00 p.m. to at least 7:00 p.m. or a little bit later will be the second Potluck of the year. I am letting you know that Shenanigans will be using flex hours on Saturday, perhaps all the way to 8:00 p.m. upon which we all turn into pumpkins again.
We are trying something new this year and if you like it, we might just do it again and again. We’ve noticed that during some of the two-hour events, some people like to stay and continue chatting with their friends and neighbors. The idea came from the starting of a “Game Night,” we figured why not add that to the potlucks. We will keep a limited bar open for you, even if it’s only for a soft drink. Of course, we will offer beer, wine, and some basic cocktails if you wish one.
Now, if you all disappear by 7:15 p.m., we will too. It’s only a test idea, and if any of you remember six years ago, when the Happy2Hours started, it was only a test idea. Just saying, you never know what will happen until you try something.
Well, that’s my message for this week. You let us know what you want, and we will try to make it happen for you. Thank you for letting Shenanigans be a fun place to come to a couple of times a month, we do appreciate your patronage.
