We want to welcome you to the first of Five SUPER HAPPY 2 HOUR events this year. On Saturday January 24th from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Shenanigans in the clubhouse, will be our Third Annual Chinese New Years, this year it will be the “Year of the Fire Horse.”
The Signature Bar will feature a special themed cocktail per usual for the ridiculously low price of $3.00. This year we will offer a cocktail that I named the “Fire Horse Moon,” please don’t ask why, it’s one of the ‘little perks’ of being the bar manager, haha.
This year the Kitchen Magicians will once again be led by Cathy Jones, featuring her Asian culinary expertise for us. Her appetizers will include home made Pot Stickers, Fried Rice, and Egg Rolls with sauces to compliment them all. Of course, we will top your appetizers off with a Fortune Cookie, otherwise, how could we call it a Chinese celebration, right?
Once again, we put Brian and Sam on the task of providing us some light music for the event, I bet you won’t hear any of the Chinese Music’s Pentatonic Scales of their ancient classical music. Oh well, 😂.
If you are new to the village, we invite you to come join us at Shenanigans on Saturday, there is no charge for the event. We offer non-alcoholic beverages and virgin cocktails if that’s what you’d like to drink. The appetizers are free of course, just our way of giving back to you for joining us for a special Happy2Hours.
