Karaoke in April 2026

Hi everyone,

It’s Karaoke time once again only this time it might be more important than ever! As you all might know by now, the clubhouse is going to be closed for a couple of weeks while they install a new floor for us. Because of that, we did lose a Happy2Hours at the end of the month, but thankfully our Karaoke Event on Saturday April 11^th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. has been spared for us.

It’s hard to realize that there is only one fun Shenanigans event for the month of April. So, folks this is it. Let’s make it one of the best Karaoke Events for Sam and Brian and Shenanigans, okay? The last Karaoke event of 2025 was the biggest and best of them all, since we will only have one event for this month, let’s all have a fun time with Sam and Brian’s Karaoke Machine. For those who haven’t made it to Karaoke yet, we now can use the big screen TV to show the lyrics to everyone in the room. Plus, we have snack appetizers free for you as well.

Now, for some necessary bar business, we have never raised the cost of soft drinks in the eight years I’ve been the bar manager. However, as you all know from shopping, the cost of everything has risen so much in the last couple of years. Therefore, we will need to increase the cost a little bit. We do not have the ability to make change with coins at the ticket table, therefore, we figured a way to cover our increased costs by selling soft drinks at “2 for $3.00.” I cannot live with the idea of charging you $2.00 per can at all, that is too much to charge. So, we are asking you to buy two tickets for $3.00 so the cost is more realistic for all of us. We do try to find sales on soft drinks, but there are times when there are no sales and our cost per can of soda reaches $1.22 with tax and CRV added.

Of course, you may use any unused soda tickets anytime you wish in the future as usual for Shenanigans. Thank you for understanding why we need to do this.
