Hello everyone it’s Al,
It’s time to talk about “Octoberfest” at Shenanigans again. Where did a whole year go?! Like someplace not fast enough for me this time! Anyhow, it’s October and there’s one Happy2Hours we all love having, and hopefully for you this time as much as our recent “Luau” event was.
What’s not to love about the great Octoberfest Appetizers from Chef Diane Perry and her Chefettes; wonderful Brot Bites, Warm Pretzels and Beer Cheese. Whoops, I let the appetizer cat out of the bag early I guess. Usually I like to surprise you with Chef Diane’s choices. However, this time we are repeating what you loved the last time we had an Octoberfest. I might add don’t arrive in the last 20 minutes of the Happy2Hours, the appetizers might be history by then. I’m just saying, they’re that good!
I did purchase some Octoberfest Beer for the event this year. I bought some Amber Ale from Sierra Nevada Octoberfest offering. As with the appetizers, it’s a limited amount that I bought, but we will have a complete open bar for you and maybe something original from our Mixologists, too.
Please come celebrate with us on Saturday October 16th from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Now, will it be outside or inside? The weather will be the dictator of that for us. I do believe we will have cooperative weather on hand to be located outside. You must know that’s a really big effort for the setup squad, but it’s done without complaint because you love the out-of-doors as much as we do. However, if it’s gonna be nasty outside, it’s gonna be inside folks! I’ll be sure to let you know in plenty of time next week, otherwise, polish up your Golf Carts and head to the greens near the Bocce Ball Courts once more.
