Hello all LVV residents. Many of you were and some were not aware that there was an old coffee can in the library where you could leave old small batteries for disposal. It has been moved.
Our head librarian, Betty Rentsch, needed the space for books, imagine that? There is a new location. It is on the bottom shelf of a bookcase just to the left of the entrance to the pool room. Betty has been gracious enough to let us use it to collect batteries. There is one box labeled for batteries and another for old printer cartridges. In addition, some residents have been leaving old flags for disposal in the library so there is also a larger box where you can place your old flags and the LVV Vet’s group will insure that they are disposed properly.
We will still continue our bulk hazardous waste collection on a regular monthly basis.
