The New Year celebration was a big success! We had a good time toasting the New Year and dancing to the FBI. The appetizers were wonderful! Many thanks to everyone.
One of last night’s attendees, Bob Hossack, forgot his jacket last night. The jacket was not in the clubhouse on Sunday morning. If anyone saw it or took it home for safe keeping, please let me know. Bob’s cell phone was in the pocket, and he really would like it back.
There is one more thing that I need to bring to everyone’s attention. The weather was not good, and it made it difficult for all of us, especially people with difficulties walking or in wheelchairs. Several cars parked at the front entrance to the clubhouse. That area, marked with cross hatched lines, is a safety zone for emergency access by fire and police and an entrance access point for folks attending the event. I had several complaints about access being blocked by parked cars. I know the weather was bad but please do not park in this area in the future.
