Dear Residents of Lakeview Village,
Through the cooperation of the Citrus Heights Police Department and their Traffic Division, they have answered my requests to take some steps to help us reduce the amount of speeders in our park.
As some of you might have already noticed, there is a large Traffic Speed Control Trailer on Oak Lakes as you come through the front gate. They will also put other signs up and even personally patrol the village with radar equipment to see if they can curb these speeders. We are in hopes that this will deter not only some of our own residents who seem to forget the 15mph maximum requirement, but all those commercial vendors who come and go all day long.
The office has informed me that the speed bumps are budgeted for repainting this coming year.
If you happen to see one of the Police Patrol watching our lanes, perhaps you might just say a quick “Thank You”.
