Hi everyone, it’s your secret Santa, Al this time.(I guess it ain’t a secret any more now.)
Just a reminder that the last Happy 2 Hours of 2022 is coming up on Saturday, December 3rd. In case you are anything like me, you probably still think it’s October; yikes,the 3rd is coming up on Saturday! Yup, that’s this week.
Because Secret Santas like surprises best of all, we will have a few for you this time. Diane Perry and her kitchen crew will be surprising you with some of their tasty appetizer creations, and she’s not even gonna tell me, the main Secret Santa, what they are making! Okay, play that way, I’m not gonna tell her what we are making at the Signature Cocktail Bar then, so there! Whoops, I guess that means I can’t tell you either. Well, I do know it’s gonna be liquid and tasty, and at our still crazy Happy Hour prices. It’s a good bet you’ll find Santa’s Elves, Norm and Renee, at the Signature Bar waiting to pour one for you, check it out. If you have a favorite Holiday Cocktail you’d like to drink, ask for it at the Main Bar. Now if you get a blank stare back, let them know what’s in the drink, it’s a good bet we have the ingredients on hand. Unless it’s something you were served on a Safari in Africa, we can probably do it for you. Don’t forget to visit Colleen at the ticket table first, there might be some mistletoe in that general area; be aware.
Karen Hellar will be on her keyboard with some sing-along Christmas music for us, and that ought to be fun! She does encourage your participation on the sing-alongs; in case you don’t know the drill, go hang around her and the keyboard to sing a happy song. And finally Judy Wilson wants to bring back something that was formally traditional, “Hang a Ball” on the clubhouse Christmas Tree. Judy says there will be ornaments placed on the tables so you can go and hang them on the tree. That tradition kinda goes back before my time here, but it does sound like a fun activity to bring back.
Well that’s about it for now, the last event Shenanigans will have this year is the big New Years Eve Party, and you can expect another email from us in a few weeks. See you Saturday!
