We had a change of plans for July that I’m sure you would like to know about. On July 20th we were to have our first annual BBQ Cook-Off; at least it sounded good on paper at the time. Sadly, we only had one person to respond to our advance sign-up, like I said, sad! So, we thought, maybe a BBQ Cook-Off during the current high-inflationary period we are all experiencing, maybe, just maybe, our cook-off idea needed some rethinking.
Shenaniganers, have no fear, we will indeed have a Happy2Hours that day for you with some good vibes as well. How does a very refreshing Peach Daiquiri as our Signature Cocktail sound to you? And let’s say I let you buy one for only two for five dollars; why? Because I said so! Bar Managers get to say things like that you know. Anyhow, I’m not finished yet. Since it’s around the middle of summer and it’s probably gonna be hot, too, why not throw a beach party with the “Beach Boys” as our theme? At least we are all old enough to remember who the “Beach Boys” were/are, right? If not, why not!? April of this year, they had their 62nd anniversary! Where in the heck did all those years go???
So, mark your calendars, Saturday, July 20 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for a fun couple of hours singing and dancing along to the “Hang Loose” Beach Boys’ music thanks to Sam and Brian for providing the tunes and memories for us that afternoon.
Diane Perry and her Kitchen Magicians will have some tasty appetizers to go along with our very refreshing Peach Daiquiris. So, let’s have some fun for a couple of hours and make this a real Beach Boys Beach Party! Let’s all try to act like we are as young as we still think we are!
