Hi everyone, “thatza spicy meatzaball,” Al here.
It’s not normal for me to promote the Potlucks as much as the Happy2Hours. But, as you might know, I’m a half-breed Italian/Sicilian so, really when it comes to an Italian Themed Potluck, who betta, huh? Don’t answer, I’m sure there’s another goombah out there who could do a better job. Anyhow, tomorrow from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm it’s“ Italian Potluck Night”in the clubhouse. Those in charge have requested that you bring your best Italian recipe dish to share; I’m thinking that’s not gonna be Kraft Mac ‘n Cheese with spaghetti sauce, although it might not be that bad. Although, as a poor college student I did find many ways to make that 25-cent product taste different. Don’t ask, it all sounds gross now. Remember when you could buy Kraft Mac ‘n Cheese in multiples all for under one dollar! The best price I found was 5 for a buck, but then I’ve been on the planet for a lotta years now!
I bet you’d like to know what Shenanigans will be offering in the booze department. Even if you aren’t thinking about that, I’m still gonna tell ya! I’ve got Norm and Renee offering a cocktail Renee suggested, so we made it, and it tasted really good too. It’s got a name that ya can’t unknow once you hear it, “Woo Woo!” I’m assuming once you have a few under your belt, all you can say is “Woo Woo!” Not to be undone by the dynamic duo at our Signature Bar, Gus at the main bar suggested you try the “Godfather!”I mean is there another better event to try one of these?
Well, I hope to see you tomorrow at the potluck, and with all that Italian food, it’s gonna be so hard to stick to my diet! Guess what? What diet!
Al Fichera,
Shenanigans’ Spicy Meatzaball
