Hi everyone! “Tiny bubbles all gone now” Al,
I just wanted to write a short thank you, and you don’t know how hard “short” is for me, haha!
You made our Luau and my Birthday Party incredibly awesome for us on Saturday! What a party! What a turn out! What a feast Diane and her Kitchen Magicians provided for us! But it was YOU, my friends that made it so great! We did the hard legwork getting it ready for you and then letting it happen, but without you, our dear friends and neighbors, it would have been just another Happy2Hour completed. That’s not bad, but not in the same league as the Luau was!
Stuff to know, I made up over six and a half gallons of Mai Tais for you; I’ve made three gallons in the past, but this ought to tell you how successful the event was. We covered expenses and will be able to provide even more fun activities for you as the year moves on. (I covered a little more info for you in the July Crier column.)
Thank you for the lovely cards that I received for my 83rd birthday, the best birthday I could have ever imagined. I’m still trying to read all the comments on the community card that Judy had you all sign. I think I’ll have reading material for some time to come.
Well, how’s this for being short for me? Anyhow, I just wanted to say thanks from all the volunteers that make these events possible, without them, it wouldn’t happen. Okay, now I’m done.
