Coming up on Saturday August 17th from 5:00 pm to 9:30 pm we have arranged another fun and live music event for you; we’ve named it, “Route 66, Our Burgers, your Side-Dish.”
The shared potluck idea is the first for us; we will supply the hamburgers and fixin’s and you will bring the side dishes for the potluck. Resident Dave Wheeler will once more man the BBQ for the hamburgers for us. So, the main protein for the meal will be provided for you in the cost of the event. The side-dishes that go with a summer BBQ should be fun to come up with for you. From potato, veggie, and salad choices to appetizers and/or other treats, I can’t wait to see what everyone will come up with.
Shenanigans will be open at 5:00 pm for you with some of their themed cocktails and wine, plus regular bar offerings. Dining should be from 5:30 pm to 6:3 0pm and then the B-Side Band will begin playing. If you haven’t had a chance to experience the B-Side Band to date, this would be a great opportunity for you. Everyone we’ve talked to about this band had nothing but positive comments and kudos to us for finding them.
The inflation-fighting ticket price of $10.00 covers the burgers and the cost of hiring the band. I’m sure you’ll agree with us that this is quite a bargain by today’s standards. Tickets will be sold on August 13th, 14th, and 15th. We are so looking forward to seeing you there with us.
