St. Patrick’s Day Potluck

Hi everyone!

Just a quick message to remind you that this month’s Potluck was moved from Friday to this coming Saturday, March 18, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the Clubhouse. (For you newbies to the village, Potlucks are in addition to Shenanigans Happy 2 Hours.)

Our Shenanigans Signature Bar will be featuring our delicious “Rockin’ Leprechaun” Cocktail once again. It’s all orangey and rummy, and of course by using orange flavored Blue Curaçao turns the drink quite green. After all, is there a better day to feature green cocktails other than St. Patrick’s Day? (Oh yeah, I remember, Thursday is a good day for all things green. Maybe you need to be old like me to know that, haha,)

Our feisty Leprechaun Norm Schoch will be there to pour one for you. Obviously, we wouldn’t leave our cute lady Leprechaun Renee Schoch with nothing to do, she will be offering glass cups of delicious Coffee cocktails  with either Irish Cream or Peppermint Bark Rum Chata topped with whipped cream, too. Our Mixologist Gus and his bartenders at the main bar will certainly make something special for you if these Signature Bar cocktails fail to rock your world. (At least I tried!)

Just one more thing, thanks for making our recent Mardi Gras Happy 2 Hours so much fun for us and have it rank right up there with the best Happy 2 Hours we’ve had while on my watch. Special thanks go to Diane Perry and her kitchen helpers for the outstanding appetizers and desserts that night. I’m sorry if you missed our Mardi Gras event; you’ll need to wait a whole year before we can do it again for you. (That’s sad huh?)
