Ticket to Ride

Feb 22, 2026

Hello, Beatles Fans  ,

I have my ticket and can’t wait until this Saturday’s Sell Out Concert Dance from 6 to 9pm in the clubhouse to reconnect with an imp

ortant part of my young life. It’s been a long time coming, but I’m told that the “Ticket to Ride” Band really connects with what the Beatles managed to create so many years ago. It’s still hard to believe that a group of four young men in four short years, were able to create a legacy that has endured for six decades.

Two of the Beatles, John and Ringo were born in the same year as me. So, it’s not too hard to believe that I’d be interested in their music to the point of standing in long lines at the record store to buy their latest vinyl album. They released thirteen albums between 1963 to 1967, delivering something new and special in each album. I remember the conversations we had wondering what the next album was going to be like, hopefully it was going to be another incredible collaboration that we could discuss its relevance with our friends.

I don’t know what tunes the “Ticket to Ride” has planned to play for us, but I bet they will bring back memories of an incredibly special part of our young lives.

Now that I might have gained your rapt attention, I want to let you know that we created a special cocktail for the event, it is called “Blue Diamond” because it’s ‘blue’ and it ‘sparkles’ and the idea came from a Beatles song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds.” I know it’s a stretch, but I wanted the cocktail to have elements that most of you love, such as: Vodka, Cranberry Juice, and Orange flavored liquor. To keep the cocktail blue, I chose Blue Curaçao which is where the orange flavor comes from, and white cranberry juice which is clear and will not change the blue color. Vodka makes a perfect partner for the cocktail and 7 UP will add the sparkle. All that and we will offer it to you for only $3.00 at the Signature Bar. We will try to not run out of this cocktail, but it will be in limited supply for the event. I hope to see all of you Beatle Fans in a few days.
