Waste Disposal Hello Lakeview Village Friends and neighbors:
Quite a few residents have been asking if I take e-waste (computers, monitors, printers, phones and other electronic items). I have had to refuse because they are e-waste not Household hazardous waste.
GOOD NEWS:
I received a flyer on my door today about the next neighborhood cleanup day which will be on Wednesday April 13. You may dispose of any e-waste on that day along with any other items from your spring house cleaning or left over from the parking lot sale. The flyer is self explanatory.
I will continue to collect household hazardous waste in front of the clubhouse on the last Saturday of the month which is April 30th. Once again Ken Ingle and Don Hellar will be helping me. We are limited to 15 Gallons of liquid or 125 pounds of solid waste per vehicle. Once each of the three vehicles is at that capacity we have to stop collecting. Last month they turned us away with about 1/2 load each. Thank you for your cooperation. As always, if you have any questions, please call me @ 916-910-9079.
